Dismissal Procedures

Dismissal time for Colonial Elementary students is 2:45 p.m. Parents are to go through the parent pick up line and wait patiently on their students. Each vehicle MUST have the school issued pickup tag for the correct school year placed in their window with their students name and grade level. It is our goal to complete our pickup as soon as possible. We need the cooperation of parents to pick up their students on time. Students who are not picked up when the line is complete will go to the office. Parents will need to go to the front office with proof of ID to pick up their child. A late fee may be applied. Students who are walkers will need to be within 2 miles of the school and not have a bus. Parents who pick up a walker in a car must go through the parent pick up line. Parking on the street or in the staff parking lot is not allowed. Parents who are at the gate MUST have the orange walker tag.
